Greetings fellow Shroud colleagues,
I offer a suggestion to use when you encounter this - "I believe in the Resurrection and don't need the Shroud." Suggested Response - "If God has left us this miraculous image then what is His reason for this? Does He desire our response to be 'indifference'?
God does things for a reason and His word is always effectual to accomplish His will. "So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty. But it shall accomplish that which I intend and prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Is 55:11
**The Shroud will 'accomplish the thing' for which God has sent it. Hence, one cannot afford to be indifferent to that which God has sent.
Merry Christmas everyone,
